IRVINE, Ca.- For the first time in Orange County history soccer lovers and sports fans will have the opportunity to witness and support their very own professional mens soccer team as the OC Blues FC kick off its inaugural home opener Saturday night versus Oklahoma City Energy FC at Anteater Stadium, UC Irvine. Gates open at 5:30 PM with kick-off set for 7:00 PM.
The Energy are making the first appearance of their inaugural season in USL PRO. The Blues are also entering a new era, as this offseason the club rebranded to become the Orange County Blues Football Club. Saturday’s game will be the first home opener in OC Blues FC history at UC Irvine.

“We are looking forward to our home game as the Orange County Blues FC and know we can start off our home campaign with dominance. This is an exciting time in the history of our club.” said General Manager Jon Spencer.
