Irvine, CA(May 9, 2014) – The Blues are set to battle Oklahoma City Energy FC for the second time this season. This time the Blues will fly to Oklahoma to face the Energy at 5 P.M. P.T. at Pribil Stadium.
In the first meeting of this matchup, OKC made their USL PRO debut and cruised to a 2-0 victory behind goals from Kyle Greig and Nathan Schiffman, in Orange County’s home opener at Anteater Stadium.
The Blues set off to the Great Plains after a 2-0 loss at home on Thursday to the Charlotte Eagles. Orange County is now on a three game losing streak, and look for their first win on the road in the first match outside California for this season. The Blues will arrive with a record of 2-6-0 and six points.
OKC Energy FC fell 3-1 Sunday evening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex against Orlando City Soccer Club. The Energy now have a record of 2-4-0 with six points.
Both teams are ready to gain the extra three points to progress in USL PRO standings. In addition the Energy has announced a sold out Pribil Stadium for tomorrows game.
