Irvine, CA (August 7, 2014)-The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are set to host the Orange County Blues on Friday, August 8 for the first and only time this season. Kickoff is set for a 4 p.m. PST at Highmark Stadium, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Be sure to catch the game live on youtube.com/ThePghRiverhounds.

The Riverhounds will be looking to build on last week’s victory as they currently sit outside the top eight in the USL PRO standings, but with the Blues also on the outside looking in, a win and three points are essential for both sides if they hope to keep pace in the hunt for the USL PRO Playoff.

Orange County heads to Pittsburgh to their second game of a four-game road trip looking to halt a five-game losing streak. The Blues (8-13-0, 24pts) have not won since a June 28th contest against Arizona, and have also lost four consecutive road games. They suffered a 1-0 defeat to OKC Energy FC this past Saturday on a late goal by David Leichty in the 88th minute.

The Riverhounds (6-11-5, 23pts) are looking to build momentum after a come-from-behind 3-1 victory against the LA Galaxy II last Saturday night at Highmark Stadium.
